African Blood Lineage
A 6-tier trait track applied to every character in the world. Controls skin color dynamically using an exponential curve (x⁴), meaning early-generation mixing produces lighter skin while high-concentration characters remain dark.
Tiers
| Tier | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Pale Stock | Universal baseline. The unawakened state of the world. |
| 1 | Lesser Race | Trace African blood. Almost non-existent. |
| 2 | Barely Mixed | After generations of non-African breeding. |
| 3 | Mixed | Direct byproduct of interracial sex in the bloodline. |
| 4 | Mostly Black | Selectively bred among African foreigners. Noticeably darker. |
| 5 | Black | Equivalent to former Pure African trait. Full heritage. |
Skin Color Logic
- Original skin tone is preserved as a baseline
- Darker original skin stays dark regardless of blood level
- Lighter original skin darkens progressively as blood level rises
- Exponential curve (x⁴) added in v2.5.2 — lighter 2nd-generation results
Migration from Old System
The old discrete traits (bno_full_black, bno_mostly_black, bno_mixed, bno_barely_mixed) no longer exist. All are unified into this track. The Maintenance Story cycle converts remaining Pure African characters into the new system.
